As if there wasn't enough hassles with raising a child with autism, a very disconcerting facet of having a child with autism isn't just that nobody understands what you are going through, but also, people tend to think you might be a little bit off, somewhat predisposed to strange sounding theories, or just plain crazy. It can happen anytime you start talking about what is wrong with your child, what you want to do to treat your child, or what is wrong with the vast pharmaceutical industrial complex controlling legislation, television advertisements, and public health. This area is for convincing people that you aren't crazy; or at least, that maybe you aren't as crazy as it seems at first glance. Truth be told, you are probably a little bit nuts. Sorry.
